Designed by KOKO, Fahle House is one of the most characteristic examples of architecture from Estonia's recent economic boom. It was architecturally ambitious, risky from a real estate development perspective, controversial from a heritage conservation standpoint, and an architectural object that attracted widespread public attention. Located on the road between the airport and the city center, at one of Tallinn's main entrances, the Fahle House attracts the attention of every passerby. The building is part of a former cellulose and paper industry complex, the most prominent building of which is the tall and massive limestone boiler house designed by architect Erich Jacoby.
