Paldiski is a small town in North Estonia with 4,020 inhabitants (as of 01.04.2014) 50 km from the capital Tallinn and 25 km from Keila. The territory of Paldiski, the second largest city in Estonia by area, includes the Pakri Peninsula, the Suur- and Väike-Pakri islands and the surrounding sea area. The city's dense population occupies only 5.4 km² of the total area of 102 km².
Good connections to the rest of Estonia by road and rail. You can get to Tallinn or Keila quickly and comfortably by electric train. Paldiski's two ports, the South and North Ports, are ice-free all year round and primarily handle goods moving through the ports. The South Port also serves ferry lines to Finland and Sweden.
