Tartu mnt 84a, or Fahle House, is part of the former pulp mill complex, the most prominent structure of which was the powerful limestone pulp boiler building built in 1926. KOKO Architects tried to leave as many historical details as possible visible inside the old part of the building. In 2004-2007, the building was reconstructed and a new part with a glass facade was added. Architects Andrus Kõresaar and Raivo Kotov have also received several high awards for this work.
The historical part of the building mainly houses various offices and technical rooms. Upstairs, in the new part of the building with a glass facade above the old boiler house, there are mostly apartments of different sizes. The new part of the building is supported by powerful concrete columns that run through the old house to the ground.
