BUILDING
Quality building completed in 2019, its energy efficient solutions give it a zero energy building status - the house produces all the energy it consumes and You can forget Your electricity bills! The house is built on a concrete foundation that has 200 mm EPS insulation, walls built of quality Bauroc building blocks that are insulated with 200 mm wool and 50 mm windbreaker, the roof is insulated with 500 mm of wool - the house is wrapped in proper insulation and the heat loss is minimal. The main door is a massive solid wood door, windows are 3 pane glass. The house is heated with a geothermal heating system that minimises the energy needed to heat the building. Fresh air is provided by a forced ventilation system. To save energy, the house has only LED lights on the inside and on the outside. Thanks to these energy efficient solutions the energy consumption is taken to a minimum. On top of that, the house has 10 kW of solar panels installed on the roof of the house through which the house produces all the necessary energy used on a yearly base. During the summer the solar panels produce more electricity than the house consumes and the rest is sold back to the electricity provider that can be settled with the provider and used during the winter. During the last years the house has produced all the energy it needs by itself!
