A landmark of its time
Serious architecture enthusiasts know the house at Mardi 3 as a valuable work by architect Johann Nicolai Thamme. Recognized as a protected heritage building, this residence is an important example of neo-Renaissance in Tallinn’s wooden architecture. We have faithfully and meticulously restored this beautiful protected wooden villa — from the external wooden cladding to the herringbone parquet, wainscoting, ceiling cornices, and lime-plastered walls.
Five rooms if you want
A sunny, impressive, and spacious 4-room apartment where you can also plan for 5 rooms if desired. The entrance hall features a large walk-in wardrobe, which can also be separated with doors. There is a guest toilet accessible from the entrance hall, and on the second floor, a spacious 32.2 m² kitchen-living room where furniture can be arranged in various ways. Create your dream kitchen with an island or a dining table for up to 12 people.
Both bedrooms on the second floor accommodate spacious wardrobes, and the high 2.8-meter ceilings offer the opportunity to create plenty of storage with custom furniture.

We have respectfully emphasized this heritage building’s era with quality materials in a modern interpretation: herringbone wooden parquet, wooden paneling on the hallway walls and living room ceiling, and decorative ceramic tiles in the bathroom. The apartment walls are also covered with a natural material — lime plaster — which leaves a lightly textured finish and is a visual delight in itself.
Heating and cooling
The building has district heating from Utilitas, with heat delivered to the rooms through underfloor heating. This means there are no radiators in the apartments, allowing more freedom in furniture arrangement and an authentic interior consistent with the era before radiators existed. A cooling system with a ceiling unit reaching every room is already installed — definitely an added comfort during extreme heatwaves.
Parking and storage
The property features a large courtyard with a private green area, 10 parking spaces onsite, and a separate outbuilding with storage units.
