BUILDING
Designed by KOKO, the Fahle building is one of the most distinctive examples of architecture from Estonia’s recent economic boom. It was an architecturally ambitious, risky from a real estate development perspective, controversial from a heritage preservation standpoint, and widely discussed architectural project. Located on the stretch of road between the airport and the city center, at the entrance to one of Tallinn’s main thoroughfares, the Fahle House catches the eye of every passerby. The building is part of a former pulp and paper industry complex, the most striking structure of which is the tall, massive limestone cooking plant designed by architect Erich Jacoby.
The building is in very good condition; the common areas are clean and well-maintained, and the front door is locked. The building’s hallways are easily navigable with a stroller, as they are spacious and offer plenty of room.
LAYOUT AND INTERIOR DESIGN
Although the apartment is move-in ready, it still has a great deal of potential and offers many opportunities to customize it to your liking.
