The buildings were probably built in the early years of the 20th century. During the Soviet time in the 70s, the Sidekontor bought the buildings for its own summer complex, and at the beginning of Estonia regaining its independence, they were sold back to private ownership. Since then, all buildings have been finished with reed roofs in a uniform style, emphasizing the traditional farm architecture of Saaremaa and blending harmoniously into the surrounding nature.
