Paevälja Kvartal – New Life on a Historic Airfield

The load-bearing structures are monolithic, intermediate floors are made of hollow-core panels with added sound insulation, and the floors feature concrete slabs with water-based underfloor heating pipes to ensure an even and comfortable indoor climate.
The heating solution is district heating, with room-based adjustable water underfloor heating in all apartments, including bathrooms. Ventilation systems include heat recovery – apartment-based systems in Paevälja 9 and building-based systems in Paevälja 7.
Paevälja 7/1 and 7/2 are six-storey buildings equipped with both staircases and elevators. Paevälja 9 is a three-storey building where movement between floors is via staircase.
Apartments are equipped with remotely readable electricity meters, and the buildings are connected to Tallinn’s central water and sewage network. Each apartment also has a remotely readable water meter, allowing convenient and accurate monitoring of consumption.
Parking and Storage
Parking spaces and storage units are mainly located on the underground level, ensuring safety and a peaceful courtyard environment. A limited number of parking spaces are also available in the outdoor ground-level parking area. The price of storage units and parking spaces depends on the selected location.
